HIL Testing Engineer

What you will do

• Manage validation, integration, and feasibility of electric electronic component launches and new products.
• Lead root cause analysis of pre-series and production vehicles, including electric electronic testing.
• Develop and execute testing plans for new hardware/software introductions.
• Install sensors (microphones, accelerometers, etc.) and ensure BUS connectivity (CAN, LIN, etc.).
• Configure measurement equipment, test drive vehicles, analyze data, and prepare reports in English or German.
• Represent the department in global operations teams and evaluate supplier solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Systems, Electric, Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automotive industry using measurement techniques and data acquisition.
• 3+ years working with measurement equipment like data loggers and analysis.
• Experience in vehicle instrumentation, sensors, transducers, data logging systems, and protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• English fluent.
• 18-month contract.
