Powerplant Engineer

TL;DR

Powerplant Engineer: Managing powerplant activities for hirify.global airline clients including engine phase-in and phase-out, condition monitoring, and shop visit forecasting with an accent on technical support to clients and internal stakeholders. Focus on engine health monitoring, performance analysis, reliability solutions, and coordination with OEMs and MROs.

Location: Madrid, Spain or Shannon, Ireland. Hybrid working model (remote work may be possible).

What you will do

• Provide technical support for engine deliveries, redeliveries, base and line maintenance to airline clients and internal teams
• Manage projects assigned by Powerplant Specialist, including liaison with OEMs like CFM, IAE, Pratt & Whitney
• Perform engine health monitoring, performance analysis, and technical reviews in coordination with OEMs
• Review and implement Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and other technical documentation
• Identify and implement solutions to powerplant reliability issues with clients and OEMs
• Coordinate engine and APU maintenance visits with MROs, including technical and commercial aspects

Requirements

• English language proficiency at working level
• Vocational or technical education in relevant discipline
• One of: EASA Part 66 maintenance license or 2–3 years’ experience in airworthiness, CAMO, or fleet management with powerplant focus

Nice to have

• Technical knowledge of V2500, PW1100G, or CFM56 engines
• Understanding of EASA Part M, Part CAMO, and Part 145 regulations
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel when required
