What you will do

• Design and maintain core systems infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and secure IT operations.
• Implement DISA STIGs on network components and manage virtual or hyperconverged environments.
• Install, configure, and migrate Windows Server and SQL Server software.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, Ruby, or Perl to enhance system efficiency.
• Manage software verification and validation (V&V) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environments.
• Draft technical procurement documentation, including Statements of Work (SOWs) and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, including infrastructure and virtualization support.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience with enterprise networking (LAN, WAN, cloud, Zero Trust, SDN) and load balancing.
• Proficiency with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V, Nutanix, or VMware.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, SQL Server, and scripting in Python or PowerShell.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Jira implementation.
• Relevant certifications: MCP, CCNA, or VMware Data Center Virtualization.
