What you will do

• Architect and support highly available FBI-wide resources using AWS services and on-premises servers.
• Automate the creation and management of AWS resources using CloudFormation, Lambda, GitLab, BASH, and Python.
• Design and implement automated monthly server rebuild and switchover processes.
• Maintain network hardware and server infrastructure, performing analysis, configuration, and testing of new systems.
• Troubleshoot physical and logical network issues and monitor system performance and response times.
• Provide technical consultation, mentorship, and training to government IT personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 7–9 years of experience in Information Systems Engineering, including hardware and network design for large-scale enterprises.
• Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain CI Poly.
• Experience with Everfox (Forcepoint) Cross Domain Solutions (CDS).
• Proven experience in scripting and programming for automation.
• Experience with virtualization platforms including VMware and AWS.

Nice to have

• Cloud certifications.
• Expertise with Python, Bash, or PowerShell for infrastructure management.
• Experience designing or supporting Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) in secure, multi-network environments.
• Proficiency with AWS EventBridge and GitLab automation pipelines.
