What you will do
- Execute and deploy the global Supplier Quality Strategy throughout the Europe region to meet business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing, geographically dispersed team of Supplier Quality Engineers.
- Direct the closure of Supplier Corrective Actions (SCARs) to improve supplier QMS and manufacturing processes.
- Partner with Supply Chain and Engineering to resolve complex technical and process challenges at the supplier level.
- Serve as the regional process owner for APQP and PPAP to ensure successful product launches and transfers.
- Analyze regional supplier quality data to identify systemic issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Management, including 5+ years in SQE or Supplier Development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Proven experience leading and managing dispersed engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) methodologies such as 8D and 5-Why.
- Deep knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), MSA, and Aerospace Quality Standards (AS9100 / ISO 9001).
- Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid capacity in Tewkesbury, UK.
Nice to have
- Six Sigma Black Belt or PMP certification.
- Certified Quality Auditor (AS9100 Lead Auditor, CQE) or extensive auditing experience.
- Practical experience with APQP, PPAP, or NPI methodology.
- Knowledge of UK CAA and EASA requirements and IAQG standards.
