What you will do
- Identify and pursue opportunities across SOF units, TSOCs, and SOCOM components
- Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline, converting demos into OTAs and funded programs
- Own full sales cycle from operator engagement to contracts
- Run demos, operational evaluations, and represent at SOF events like SOF Week
- Build relationships with USSOCOM, acquisition stakeholders, and align with internal R&D/product teams
Requirements
- 3+ years in business development or defense sales within the U.S. market
- Experience with SOCOM or strong exposure to SOF
- Familiarity with defense technologies: UAS, C-UAS, autonomy, advanced sensors
- Proven sales skills in complex procurement and multi-stakeholder deals
- Strong understanding of Army procurement, OTA/IDIQ, DoD acquisition cycles
- Exceptional communication to engage senior military and industry stakeholders
- Proactive, mission-driven mindset adaptable to fast-changing priorities
