Process Development Technician (Biotech)

Salary: $25.00/hr - $33.33/hr

What you will do

• Process samples via accessioning into lab management system, preparation, transfer, RNA extraction, and qPCR support.
• Follow standard operating procedures and perform only authorized high-complexity tests based on your training.
• Adhere to quality control policies, document calibrations, maintenance, and corrective actions for test deviations.
• Identify and resolve problems affecting test performance or results, notifying supervisors as needed.
• Support innovative high-throughput lab processes to meet production goals.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Biology or Chemistry (provide diploma and transcripts upon request).
• Solid knowledge of biological and laboratory science principles.
• Recent undergraduate or entry-level lab experience with pipettes, centrifuges, and standard equipment.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, attention to detail, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Working knowledge of computers, databases, Windows/Mac; excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Thrive in fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with laboratory automation.
• Data accessioning experience.
• Some statistical analysis experience.
