TL;DR
Service Desk Technician - Analyst (IT Support): Providing Tier 1 technical assistance and end-user support for corporate technology systems with an accent on troubleshooting Microsoft cloud technologies and desktop OS. Focus on resolving hardware/software issues, streamlining onboarding processes, and maintaining high system availability for end users.
Location: Hybrid (Stamford, CT). Must work in the office Monday-Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
Salary: $60,000 – $85,000

What you will do
- Serve as the first point of contact for Tier 1 end-user technical support queries via phone and email.
- Provide onsite technical support at the Stamford, CT office to cover support gaps.
- Perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and guide users through problem-solving.
- Manage and assist with technical onboarding and support for new hires.
- Document all technical events, problems, and their resolutions in system logs.
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation schedule.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in end-user technical support.
- 1-3 years of experience with Microsoft cloud-related technologies (O365, OneDrive, Exchange).
- 1-3 years of experience with desktop technologies including Windows, Mac OS, MS Office, Teams, and Zoom.
- Must be based in or able to commute to the Stamford, CT office Monday-Thursday.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure.

- Experience working with FreshService and ServiceNow.
