What you will do

• Support Propulsion Systems Supplier Warranty Action Team through onsite supplier auditing to drive quality improvements.
• Leverage data mining on warranty dashboards to identify trends, lead investigations, and implement process improvements.
• Follow up on issues with Supplier Quality Engineers, Global Commodity Leads, and suppliers for lessons learned and global read-across.
• Identify root causes of warranty issues and ensure effective corrective actions while upholding GM quality standards.
• Drive warranty review processes engaging SWAT Engineers, Global Leads to address high-risk suppliers.
• Engage with warranty parts return center and collaborate on open returns requiring analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Manufacturing preferred) or equivalent technical degree.
• Minimum 5 years in supplier quality, quality, engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
• Ability to travel up to 50% (domestic/international); current legally recognized driver's license.
• Strong understanding of propulsion components (engines, transmissions, electric motors, batteries) and electrification technologies.
• Experience with supplier auditing, process controls, QMS, IATF; proficient in GD&T, part measurement, statistical quality control.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes; ability to investigate problems, manage projects, lead cross-functional teams.
