What you will do

• Define and execute the data services roadmap aligned with company and product strategy.
• Build, lead, and mentor a world-class data services team, managing hiring and performance.
• Lead the ingestion, validation, and processing of complex healthcare datasets including claims, EHR, and provider directories.
• Design and optimize the Azure-based data platform using Synapse, Data Factory, and Azure Fabric.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and enforce rigorous data governance and security practices.
• Collaborate with data science and product teams to support ML models, dashboards, and client onboarding.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data services or software development.
• Deep domain expertise in healthcare payer data (claims, enrollment, eligibility).
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Azure stack (ADLS, Synapse, Data Factory, SQL, Fabric).
• Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and/or Scala.
• Advanced knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and distributed data processing.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2 compliance.
