TL;DR

Location: Hybrid: Must report to the Milford Proving Ground in Milford, MI at least three times per week

What you will do

• Design and develop reusable robot scripts to ensure vehicle software quality across multiple programs and features.
• Collaborate with Test Champions to deliver customized automation solutions for active test requests.
• Utilize Python, Robot Framework, and AIRE tools to build and enhance automation workflows.
• Execute end-to-end software tests, including test plan creation, defect triage, and result reporting.
• Manage code quality via GitHub, participating in pull requests and code reviews.
• Maintain technical documentation to support team onboarding and script reuse.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software development or test automation for complex systems.
• Proficiency in Python and Robot Framework.
• Experience with GitHub and source control practices.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate test vehicles.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with automotive software platforms and diagnostic tools (e.g., Vehicle Spy, INCA).
• Advanced experience with Autobot and automation of vehicle-level tests.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines or lab automation environments.
• Full vehicle integration or end-to-end validation experience across multiple modules.
