Resilience Director

What you will do

• Act as primary point of contact and subject matter expert for business resilience efforts.
• Drive organizational change by influencing stakeholders and fostering continuous improvement in continuity practices.
• Establish standards for Disaster Recovery program and coordinate documentation and testing with stakeholders.
• Lead development of recovery strategies and communication between business and technology groups.
• Own annual business continuity documentation, plan reviews, exercises, and updates.
• Define recovery benchmarks, metrics, and real-time reporting for executive leadership.
• Oversee business impact analysis (BIA) for business units and technology platforms.
• Provide expertise during business disruptions and supervise external consultants and junior team members.

Requirements

• 10+ years in business continuity, IT Disaster Recovery or related fields; experience in B2B SaaS or consulting firm required.
• 5+ years management experience in business continuity, resilience, or IT Disaster Recovery required.
• CBCP certification or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal/written communications at all organizational levels.
• In-depth knowledge of business continuity and IT disaster recovery standards, processes, and terminology.
• Technically conversant in infrastructure recovery, network connectivity, and storage restoration.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills for data-driven decisions and managing priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience with BCM or GRC tools and platforms.
