Salary: $157,400 – $196,800 USD

What you will do

• Lead the technical development of NGS-based oncology assays from feasibility through verification and validation.
• Manage and mentor team members to drive high-quality execution of project plans.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Research, Informatics, Stats, Software, Regulatory, and Commercial teams.
• Support post-launch activities, including process improvements and troubleshooting for commercialized assays.
• Prepare and review technical documentation and study protocols for regulatory compliance.
• Perform and guide complex data analysis using statistical tools.

Requirements

• PhD in Molecular Biology or related field with 8+ years of industry experience, or BS/MS with 10+ years.
• Minimum 2 years of people management experience.
• Proven experience in NGS-based assay development within a regulated CLIA environment.
• Technical expertise in oncology diagnostics and NGS technologies.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills for regulatory environments.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in San Carlos, CA.
