TL;DR

Onboarding Coordinator (HR): Managing the end-to-end employee onboarding process and candidate experience for a food marketplace with an accent on HRIS management, compliance, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on optimizing the integration of new hires, streamlining administrative workflows in Rippling, and supporting talent acquisition through initial screenings.

Location: Must be based in New York, NY (Onsite)

Salary: $23 – $24 per hour

What you will do

  • Lead the new hire onboarding experience and facilitate orientation meetings to ensure smooth integration.
  • Act as the primary owner for new hire data entry within Rippling HRIS, managing payroll and benefits setup.
  • Maintain and audit digital employee files to ensure 100% compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Partner with the People Experience team to execute on-site culture events and engagement initiatives.
  • Support the recruitment pipeline by conducting initial phone screenings and managing high-volume interview scheduling.
  • Own the end-to-end company merchandise process, including ordering and distribution for milestones.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in New York, NY.
  • 2+ years of administrative or project management experience in a startup environment.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal) is required.
  • Strong time management and the ability to function autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computer systems.

Nice to have

  • Experience with remote onboarding and working in remote company environments.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Notion, Google Workspace, Monday, and Rippling.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic work environments.
