HR Coordinator (Retail)

Location: Onsite in Carneys Point, New Jersey, United States; support may include day, night, weekend, and 24/7 warehouse shifts.

Base salary: $69,000–$76,000 USD per year; bonus and equity may be available for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Serve as the first point of contact for associates’ HR questions and escalate issues when needed.
• Administer timecards, correct errors, support approvals, and help maintain wage/hour compliance.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including badges, system access, paperwork, and orientation logistics.
• Maintain accurate and timely employee records in the HRIS.
• Coordinate scheduling, attendance tracking, workforce reporting, and shift coverage across day and night operations.
• Support investigations, audits, compliance reporting, engagement activities, training logistics, and recognition programs.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of HR, payroll, or administrative experience.
• Experience supporting hourly employees in warehouse, retail, or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of timekeeping or payroll systems and wage/hour compliance.
• Ability to learn and use HRIS, timekeeping, and workforce reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds and bending, twisting, or kneeling.
