What you will do

• Obtain blood specimens by performing venipunctures and finger sticks.
• Verify test requisitions and patient identification to ensure accuracy and specimen integrity.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following aseptic techniques and legal regulations.
• Manage Protected Health Information (PHI) in strict compliance with HIPAA and security training.
• Handle logistical management, including printing patient reports and triaging billing questions.
• Coordinate pickup schedules with courier services such as FedEx or Medspeed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy Certificate (if required by the State).
• Must be based in McKinney, TX.
