What you will do

• Perform venipunctures and finger sticks to obtain blood specimens from patients.
• Verify test requisitions and patient identification to ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain specimen integrity using aseptic techniques and following strict isolation procedures.
• Manage logistics, including printing patient reports and scheduling courier pick-ups via FedEx or Medspeed.
• Handle billing inquiries and conduct necessary follow-ups with patients.
• Ensure full compliance with HIPAA/PHI privacy regulations and security training.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy Certificate (if required by State).
• Must be based in Ashburn, VA.
• Ability to adhere to professional standards, JCAHO standards, and federal/state requirements.
