Production Planner

TL;DR

What you will do

• Develop and maintain capacity models for headcount, equipment, and facilities across multiple labs.
• Create daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned to goals.
• Monitor shift-level execution, highlight deviations over 5%, and develop remedial plans.
• Partner with lab operations to realign work-in-progress and priorities to overcome constraints.
• Track and report KPIs including QCDS, schedule adherence, cycle time, OEE, and bottlenecks.
• Analyze data from SQL, PowerBI, LIMS, JIRA, and other tools to drive improvements.

Requirements

• BS/BA/MBA in Biological Sciences, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years in production scheduling, capacity planning, or operations management.
• Proficiency in MES, ERP/MRP, LIMS, SQL, and advanced Excel/analytical tools.
• Exceptional multi-tasking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Excel, Oracle, gSuite.
• Complete HIPAA/PHI privacy, compliance, and security training within first 30 days.

Nice to have

• Experience with LIMS, SQL queries, and data visualization in Tableau, QuickSight, or PowerBI.
• Manufacturing/engineering experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools.
