What you will do

• Perform histological preparations including tissues, stained slides, and macrodissection with minimal errors
• Prepare testing reagents and equipment after training and competency
• Monitor case management, ensure TAT goals, and investigate processing issues
• Participate in validations, reagent qualifications, SOP updates, and safety initiatives
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes, document corrective actions, and escalate deviations
• Train staff, provide oversight, and collaborate with external departments like Engineering and Biodev

Requirements

• Associate's or higher degree in histotechnician program, or in chemical/biological sciences with 1 year histology experience or 9-month training program
• Bachelor's in chemical/biological sciences (30 hours biology/chemistry) with 1 year experience or training also accepted
• HT (ASCP) certification required
• 2+ years related experience; US or equivalent degree; pass criminal background check
• Complete HIPAA/PHI, compliance, and security training within 30 days
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, organizational skills; proficient in Google Suite/Microsoft Office
