What you will do

• Assist with molecular genetic testing and processing of clinical specimens according to multiple workflows.
• Prepare and store reagents while maintaining laboratory inventory and supplies.
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control activities.
• Ensure strict adherence to SOPs and notify supervisors of any processing issues.
• Handle administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and quality control of spreadsheets.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or higher in chemical, physical, biological sciences, or medical technology.
• 1+ year of relevant experience in a laboratory setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
• Must be able to work onsite at the San Diego office.
