What you will do

• Handle and process patient samples, analyze test results, and prepare detailed reports.
• Perform quality control (QC) activities, including instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance.
• Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for sample accessioning and throughput.
• Identify and resolve test system deviations and implement corrective actions following established protocols.
• Train new employees on laboratory policies, methods, and technical techniques.
• Participate in the development and drafting of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

• Held California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license
• BS/BA in a biology-related science.
• Minimum 6 years of experience performing high-complexity testing in a clinical laboratory
• Proficiency in molecular testing techniques (e.g., PCR, real-time PCR).
• Analytical skills with experience working with databases and MS Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience in immunology, microbiology, or related fields.
• Deep understanding of diseases with complex treatment algorithms.
