What you will do

• Lead network architecture, routing, and switching design and equipment lifecycle management.
• Design and implement infrastructure improvements to enhance network performance, capacity, and scalability.
• Install and configure networking hardware, including LAN switches, wifi, and firewalls.
• Provide 24/7 operational support and lead root cause analysis (RCA) for network incidents.
• Perform network vulnerability assessments and manage firmware updates for all equipment.
• Maintain detailed network architecture documentation and ensure alignment with compliance and risk management.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience, including 5+ years in Network Design and Operations.
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Linux/Windows OS administration.
• Practical knowledge of L3 and L7 firewalls and cloud security architecture.
• Must be based in San Carlos, CA for onsite hardware management.
• Industry certifications such as PNSE, CEH, Security+, CCNA/CCNP are preferred.
