Location: US Remote (with periodic travel to San Carlos, CA and Austin, TX)

What you will do

• Design architectural framework for next-generation sample accessioning, triage, and end-to-end workflow tracking with real-time visibility.
• Modernize workflow orchestration into dynamic, metadata-driven engines supporting complex branching across lab sites.
• Architect "Digital Bridge" integrations between LIMS and commercial platforms including EMR/EHR, RCM, and provider portals.
• Lead technical evaluations for third-party LIMS/middleware and roadmap for unified enterprise data fabric.
• Act as technical advisor to SVP and mentor engineering organization, bridging physical lab and digital software realities.

Requirements

• 10+ years in enterprise software architecture with emphasis on Laboratory Informatics, LIMS, or Healthcare IT.
• Demonstrated success designing high-volume sample lifecycle systems (accessioning, triage, orchestration).
• Expertise in Enterprise Integration Patterns connecting lab systems to EMRs and RCM/billing platforms.
• Deep understanding of "Order-to-Cash" journey in diagnostics or medical devices.
• Strong executive presence to influence Lab Ops, Commercial, and Engineering stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with FDA-regulated software and CSV for integrations.
• Background in Genomics or Oncology, dry/wet lab pipelines.
