What you will do

• Develop scalable, secure software architecture aligned with system and software requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and software teams, providing guidance and mentoring engineers.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Ensure regulatory compliance including IEC 62304 for medical device software.
• Integrate safety measures, perform risk assessments, and address cybersecurity.
• Advocate best practices, evaluate technologies, and improve development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages like C, C#, C++, JavaScript.
• Experience with embedded systems and medical device development.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree; experience in Class B/C medical devices.
• Linux OS configuration; TDD, CI/CD, IEC 62304.
• Generative AI for development; ML products; embedded Linux, RTOS, cybersecurity hardening; Atlassian tools.
