Salary: $105,000–$120,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead installation, configuration, and sustainment of server infrastructure in domestic and international environments.
• Design and validate power requirements for Cybersecurity and C2 systems, including load calculations and redundancy planning.
• Install and integrate server hardware including racks, cabling, and supporting infrastructure.
• Develop detailed technical documentation such as Bills of Materials (BOMs), power calculations, and asset tracking.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure hardware compatibility and system interoperability.
• Troubleshoot hardware, power, and connectivity issues during installation and operations.

Requirements

• 3–8+ years of experience in server hardware engineering or infrastructure deployment.
• US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 25%.
• Strong knowledge of server components (RAM, RAID, KVM) and power systems (UPS, PDUs).
• Familiarity with network devices (switches, routers) and cabling (copper/fiber).
• Experience with Network Attached Storage (NAS) and drive configurations.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering.
• Experience with deployments in austere or overseas environments.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Server+ or Network+.
