What you will do

• Design and build AI-first development platform with unified interfaces for AI agents handling environment provisioning, PR reviews, and self-documenting codebases.
• Embed AI into CI/CD, observability, and FinOps for predictive scaling, incident triage, self-healing, cost optimization, and anomaly detection across AWS.
• Develop agentic tooling, integrate natural language interfaces into Internal Developer Portal, and transform telemetry into actionable insights.
• Implement AI-driven governance and guardrails for standards and security.
• Mentor engineers on AI tooling, provide strategic advisory to leadership, and evangelize AI-native practices organization-wide.

Requirements

• 8+ years in Cloud/Platform Engineering (AWS preferred) with Kubernetes, Terraform/CloudFormation, modern CI/CD.
• Expert applying AI techniques (summarization, RAG, agentic reasoning) to operational workflows in production.
• Expert Python, AWS SDKs, building complex integrations and CLI/API tools.
• Staff mindset: leading cross-functional projects, navigating ambiguity, building consensus, delivering impact.
• Creative evangelism of AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders; product thinking for IDPs.

Nice to have

• LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other AI orchestration frameworks.
• Open-source contributions to platforms or AI projects.
