Salary: $177,000–$237,000

What you will do

• Own the development and administration of the White Space Basis of Design across the global portfolio.
• Perform comprehensive technical reviews of infrastructure layouts, power distribution, and high-density cooling configurations.
• Manage and mentor internal design engineers while overseeing third-party design consultants.
• Collaborate with construction, operations, and network engineering teams to ensure design constructability and seamless handoffs.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, RFIs, and design change documentation.
• Balance hands-on engineering work with strategic design leadership and capacity planning.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, or asylee) to comply with U.S. export control regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in data center design, mission-critical infrastructure, or white space design leadership.
• Expertise in white space infrastructure systems including PDUs, RPPs, busways, and high-density cooling strategies.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools like Asana or Smartsheets.
• Working knowledge of industry standards such as TIA-942, BICSI, ASHRAE, and NFPA.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE), RCDD, or PMP certification.
• Experience supporting hyperscale or High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
• Practical familiarity with capacity planning and design standardization.
