What you will do

• Lead development for Fandango, Fandango at Home, and Rotten Tomatoes, delivering experiences to millions of users.
• Architect platforms for ingesting, normalizing, and distributing studio catalogs, ratings, and metadata at scale.
• Expand social and review features for fan ratings, opinions, and community engagement.
• Collaborate on personalized discovery, recommendations, and curated content.
• Enable seamless data flow between ticketing, streaming, and review platforms.
• Mentor engineers, guide best practices, and champion security, compliance, and scalable SaaS products.

Requirements

• 8+ years engineering experience in data-rich or content-heavy platforms.
• Strong API-first development, integrations, distributed systems, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in Python, C#, Node.js, TypeScript or equivalents for scalable backend.
• Expertise in metadata management, APIs, content distribution, and community/review systems.
• Experience building systems serving multiple teams, cross-functional collaboration, and partnering with cybersecurity/legal teams.
• Change management skills (monolith to microservices, on-premise to cloud, etc.).

Nice to have

• Experience with large consumer-facing entertainment platforms.
• Familiarity with MCP Servers, highly available APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures.
• Cloud-native global scaling (AWS tools) and "Fail Fast, Learn Fast" mindset.
