What you will do

• Clip and edit CNBC broadcast footage into vertical formats for social media distribution.
• Collaborate with reporters to produce social-first video content and graphics.
• Execute social strategy and manage daily posting across platforms including Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Reddit.
• Analyze social metrics using analytics tools to optimize content and posting strategies.
• Manage community engagement and stay ahead of emerging digital trends and audience behaviors.
• Coordinate story promotion and platform strategy with TV and Digital editorial teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in London, UK and available to work 10am-6pm (UK time), with flexibility for news events.
• 3+ years of experience in social media or audience development.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop is required.
• Strong writing and copy-editing skills with the ability to write in American English.
• Experience using CMS and analytics tools such as Parse.ly or Chartbeat.
• Proven track record of growing social accounts for a major brand.

Nice to have

• Skills in Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.
• Experience in financial news coverage and breaking news.
