What you will do

• Provide education to members and providers on insurance plan benefits and digital health solutions.
• Use negotiation and motivational interviewing techniques to increase member engagement.
• Conduct pro-active and reactive member support via outbound phone, email, and text outreach.
• Accurately track and document work across internal software tools and platforms.
• Collaborate with medical directors and utilization management teams to overcome care barriers.
• Assist staff with coding, medical records, pre-certification, and claim appeals.

Requirements

• Fluent conversational Spanish required.
• Current, unrestricted Texas nursing license or Compact License.
• 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or ambulatory setting.
• 1-2 years of experience working at a health plan, preferably with a commercial population.
• Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• Working knowledge of CPT/ICD10 and insurance industry terminology.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Healthcloud, or CareIQ.
• Experience working in a call center environment.
