Affiliate Sales Intern

TL;DR

Affiliate Sales Intern: Gain hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and digital content for CNBC in China with an accent on client materials preparation, market research, and content localization. Focus on supporting sales events, translating and editing content for WeChat, and conducting local social media trend analysis.

Location: Onsite at 1266 West Nanjing Road, Unit 1581, Tower 2, Jing’an District, Shanghai, China. Available to work at least 2 days per week (ideally 3–4 days).

What you will do

• Assist with daily sales and marketing tasks, including preparation of client materials, premiums, and sales tools.
• Conduct research on local market trends and business news via social media platforms.
• Support planning and execution of sales, marketing activities, and events.
• Source, translate, and edit content from cnbc.com for the company’s WeChat account.
• Provide administrative support to the Head of Affiliate Sales, China.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate, or 1st year master’s student.
• Strong translation skills in English and Chinese; excellent interpersonal and communication abilities in both.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with basic data analysis for reporting.
• Highly motivated, able to work independently.
• Available to work at least 2 days per week (ideally 3–4 days) and commit to a 9-month internship starting June 2026.
