Salary: $6,774.00 - $7,226.00 CAD Monthly

What you will do

• Perform routine and specialized maintenance of horticultural areas, irrigation, and athletic playing fields.
• Execute skilled landscape practices including design, construction, pruning, nursery work, and pesticide application.
• Maintain and repair various synthetic turf surfaces and hardscapes such as asphalt and concrete.
• Supervise, assign work to, and provide training for labourers and apprentices.
• Evaluate soil conditions and plant health to determine proper care and maintain accession records.
• Operate heavy power equipment, including tractors, bobcats, and specialty spraying equipment.

Requirements

• Valid BC trade certification to a journeyperson level as a Landscape Technologist and/or Red Seal, or a Diploma in Turf/Sports Field Maintenance.
• Valid BC Pesticide Applicator Certificate.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
• Minimum of 5 years of related professional experience.
• Ability to lift or move heavy objects of approximately 50lbs.
