What you will do

• Act as Ministry Representative and lead construction contract administration on assigned projects.
• Oversee contractor performance to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
• Manage project budgets, including estimating, forecasting, and certifying quantities for payment.
• Plan and supervise day labour construction forces, including hiring equipment and materials.
• Resolve construction claims and disputes in collaboration with project managers and clients.
• Direct and mentor field staff while maintaining accurate project documentation and as-built drawings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Transportation, or Construction Engineering (min 2 years exp) or a technical diploma (min 4 years exp).
• Must be based in British Columbia, Canada.
• Proven experience delivering complex highway or transportation infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOTT) Standard Specifications.
• Ability to work outdoors in variable weather and travel throughout BC.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Knowledge of digital terrain models (Civil 3D / CAiCE).
