Compensation: $9,048.67 - $14,114.17 CAD Monthly

What you will do

  • Develop and implement category strategies, annual plans, and sourcing frameworks to identify value creation opportunities.
  • Lead strategic sourcing for high-risk, high-value requirements, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management.
  • Build market knowledge, monitor trends, and mitigate supply risks to ensure continuity and leverage opportunities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams for supplier reviews, performance analysis, and executive presentations.
  • Drive process improvements, vendor consolidation, and efficiencies across faculties and departments.
  • Provide strategic advice, manage escalations, and track value achieved through dashboards and reports.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline plus minimum 8 years of related experience in procurement and strategic sourcing.
  • Experience building category strategies and category management programs.
  • Degree in business, commerce, supply chain management preferred; Supply Chain Professional designation preferred.
  • Project management skills for complex projects with tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; public sector procurement experience preferred.
