TL;DR

Location: Remote (USA only, US citizenship required, ability to obtain/maintain federal security clearance), Arlington, VA

Salary: $145,000 - $170,000 a year

What you will do

  • Serve as lead architect for OCM strategy, integrating best practices to drive adoption of clinical informatics solutions.
  • Oversee change impact assessments, readiness planning, and Agile-aligned OCM roadmaps linked to project milestones.
  • Coordinate rollout of EHR systems, interoperability tools, and process enhancements across VHA enterprise.
  • Author and execute communication campaigns and facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions with leaders, clinicians, and IT personnel.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for clinical and technical audiences, assessing needs and measuring competency.
  • Support Agile ceremonies, collect feedback, report on adoption metrics, and mitigate resistance to change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, healthcare administration, organizational development, or related field.
  • 10 years of professional relevant experience; 8+ years in change management or organizational development in healthcare or federal health IT.
  • 5+ years implementing OCM for clinical informatics, EHR transitions, or interoperability projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile project delivery (Program Increment planning, backlog management, stakeholder readiness).
  • Expertise in formal OCM frameworks (Prosci, ADKAR) for large-scale health informatics initiatives.
  • Proven ability to develop training and communications for clinical/technical stakeholders; familiarity with VA platforms (VistA/CPRS, Cerner) and standards (HL7, FHIR).
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain federal security clearance (Public Trust or higher).

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in relevant discipline.
  • Prosci Certification or equivalent; SAFe Practitioner, CSM, or Agile certification.
  • Healthcare IT certifications (CPHIMS, CAHIMS, RHIA, Clinical Informatics).
  • Recent OCM leadership for VA or federal healthcare transformations.
  • Experience with clinical safety standards and modern communication/training technologies.
