What you will do

• Develop construction and major operations contracting and procurement plans, schedules, and milestones while tracking progress and collaborating with suppliers to minimize costs and risks.
• Lead competitive RFP processes, develop evaluation criteria, negotiate and award contracts, and evaluate supplier performance during construction.
• Prepare major contract documents with support from legal, engineering, construction, and operations teams.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, market pricing databases, and provide CAPEX/OPEX inputs to planning and development teams.
• Support project acquisition, execution, dispute management, and close-out activities while ensuring timely contract execution.

Requirements

• Proficient in English and French, both oral and written; knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
• Experience in procurement and contract negotiation of wind and solar projects in the United States and/or Canada.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration; specialization in wind and solar energy is an asset.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy project development, organization aptitudes, and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently and in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficient with MS Office suite (especially Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Spanish.
• Specialization in wind and solar energy.
