What you will do

  • Lead planning, coordination, and execution of finance modernization projects, including scope, timelines, budgets, and governance.
  • Develop business cases, oversee project launches, and manage risks across multiple workstreams.
  • Direct non-technical oversight of finance systems implementations like Oracle Cloud, SAP S/4HANA, Workday, ensuring data migration, testing, and integrations.
  • Analyze and optimize finance processes for automation, standardization, and efficiency using RPA and data pipelines.
  • Ensure governance, controls, compliance, and audit readiness in transformed processes.
  • Manage stakeholders, facilitate decision-making, and lead change management for user adoption.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline and minimum seven years of related experience or equivalent.
  • Strong project management expertise with knowledge of finance operations, data flows, and system integrations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in large-scale transformation projects.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset for process improvement and problem-solving.

Nice to have

  • PMP, PRINCE2, PSM or other project management certification.
  • Experience with ERP (Workday, SAP, Oracle) or EPM (Anaplan, Hyperion, OneStream) implementations.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems; MBA an asset.
  • Familiarity with change management principles (Prosci/ADKAR).
