TL;DR

IT Business Operations and Procurement Specialist: Supporting IT planning, financial analysis, purchasing, inventory, asset lifecycle tracking, invoice processing, vendor coordination, and contract administration with an accent on technology resource management across all offices. Focus on forecasting equipment needs, managing asset lifecycles, streamlining payables, and ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.

Location: Hybrid (#LI-Hybrid), headquartered in Dallas, TX with offices coast to coast in the US

Fast-growing full-service commercial real estate services organization completing billions in annual transactions in office, industrial, retail, healthcare, land, and data center properties.

What you will do

  • Forecast equipment needs, prepare requirements, obtain approvals, create POs, place orders, and coordinate fulfillment.
  • Manage full IT asset lifecycle including tagging, assignment, audits, stock levels, RMAs, and reporting.
  • Process and validate technology invoices, code expenses, reconcile statements, and ensure timely payments.
  • Coordinate vendors as primary contact, track performance, handle onboarding/offboarding, and manage service accounts.
  • Administer contracts, track renewals, SOWs, obligations, and monitor spend against commitments.
  • Track software subscriptions, support IT finance with CAPEX/OPEX analysis and budget tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years relevant experience
  • 3+ years in IT business operations with technology vendors and procurement
  • 2+ years IT accounting experience (GL, expense coding, variance analysis, CAPEX/OPEX)
  • Working knowledge of procurement and IT asset lifecycles, periodic audits
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, financial acumen, technical writing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; familiarity with technology solutions

  • Hands-on experience with Workday FIN
