What you will do

• Design and build scalable data platforms for batch and streaming use cases, including data catalog and lineage capabilities.
• Develop low-latency services for real-time data piping to power dynamic oddsmaking and risk analysis.
• Implement and enforce robust data security architectures and controls.
• Champion best practices for model deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD for data pipeline deployment.
• Ensure complete observability and maintain 99.99% availability for the data platform.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Platform Engineering within high-traffic production environments.
• Proficiency in streaming architectures (Kafka, Flink, PubSub) and building low-latency services.
• Expertise in coding with Python and Go.
• Deep experience with Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Cloud services (GCP or AWS).
• Experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Flink, Kafka, Airflow, Iceberg, and Lakehouse.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (No sponsorship provided)

Nice to have

• Background in Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS), oddsmaking, or high-frequency trading.
• Experience bridging batch historical data with real-time event streams.
• Experience enabling self-service for Data teams for pipeline development.
• Experience utilizing AI agents for repetitive tasks and AI coding.
