What you will do
- Manage site assessment and remediation projects, develop work plans, evaluate data, and implement remedial actions.
- Collaborate with team to review work products and coordinate subcontractors, drilling, labs, and scheduling.
- Analyze data, prepare reports, communicate with clients, and respond to regulators.
- Review federal, state, and local regulations and apply to client operations.
- Mentor junior staff, delegate tasks, track budgets, and collaborate with other project managers.
Requirements
- Connecticut Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP)
- 10+ years in site characterization and remediation with Connecticut Remediation Standard Regulations experience
- Degree in related scientific field
- Familiarity with Property Transfer Program, Release-Based Cleanup Regulations, and Voluntary Remediation Programs
- Project management experience with deliverables, schedules, and budgets
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work autonomously
Nice to have
- Experience with Environmental Land Restrictions and Connecticut Brownfields Cleanup Programs
