What you will do

• Direct complex hydrogeologic investigations, including the design of deep production wells and aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) systems.
• Lead the collection and interpretation of lithologic and geophysical data to refine Conceptual Site Models (CSMs).
• Serve as the primary technical expert for ADWR and ADEQ regulatory agencies to navigate water supply determinations.
• Manage the full lifecycle of groundwater projects, including budgeting, proposal development, and subcontractor management.
• Design and implement hydrogeologic characterization programs for recharge sites, focusing on mounding analysis.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior hydrogeologists and field staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrology, or Geological Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Registered Geologist (P.G.) in Arizona or ability to obtain reciprocity within 12 months.
• 10+ years of experience in hydrogeology, water resource development, or environmental remediation.
• 2+ years of experience leading technical teams or managing large-scale field programs.
• Advanced proficiency in AQTESOLV and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Successful completion of fit-for-work testing, including Drug & Alcohol testing.

Nice to have

• Expertise in zonal groundwater sampling and borehole geophysical log interpretation.
• Deep familiarity with the Active Management Area (AMA) regulatory framework in Arizona.
• Experience managing large-diameter municipal or industrial production well installations.
• Strong data management skills for regional hydrogeologic datasets.
