$30 - $32.21 an hour

What you will do

• Operate and maintain water treatment equipment including pumps, hoses, clarifiers, agitators, pipelines, and related processes.
• Monitor influent ponds, reactors, sludge systems, and perform quality control tasks like pH and turbidity measurements.
• Optimize plant performance, troubleshoot issues, and support process improvement test work.
• Conduct sampling, inspections, and monitoring of tailings, ponds, and water sources; prepare summary reports.
• Perform general site maintenance on pumps, distribution systems, buildings, and roadways; ensure equipment safety and cleanliness.
• Take safety precautions and prevent accidents.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years industrial work experience or operating water treatment plants.
• Colorado Class D Water Treatment Plant Operator License or state equivalent.
• Current Driver’s License; able to drive to site.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs, stand/bend/stoop for long periods, work outdoors in all weather.
• Experience with hand tools, small machinery.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or in a team.
