What you will do

• Manage groundwater modeling team operations, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery and serving as primary project contact.
• Lead design, construction, calibration, and application of numerical groundwater models, including sensitivity analyses.
• Oversee data acquisition, analysis, permitting, and reporting for groundwater and environmental projects.
• Handle project management including cost estimation, proposals, budgets, and invoicing.
• Interface with clients and regulators on hydrology studies, remedial investigations, and aquifer recharge projects.
• Mentor, supervise, and train hydrogeologists and modelers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in geology, hydrology, or environmental science; Master's preferred
• Registered Geologist in AZ or ability to obtain within 12 months
• 10+ years in hydrogeology, water resources, groundwater modeling, or environmental remediation
• 2+ years leadership experience
• Proficiency in groundwater modeling software and GIS
• Project management, proposal writing, cost estimation, and technical writing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Pass fit for work testing including drug & alcohol screening

Nice to have

• Familiarity with inverse modeling using PEST and pilot point parameterization
• Strong communication, IT, and data management skills
• Advanced proficiency with model datasets in text editors and spreadsheets
• Experience interpreting geologic and hydrogeologic data for conceptual and predictive models
