What you will do

  • Lead the design and development of environmental and social impact assessments (EA) and permit applications.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary technical teams to optimize project environmental design and streamline regulatory processes.
  • Interface and communicate with First Nations, government agencies, stakeholders, and communities to advance permitting activities.
  • Provide corporate technical support regarding environmental compliance, governance, and permitting.
  • Mentor and provide technical training to junior and intermediate team members.
  • Support the development of client proposals and identify business development opportunities in mining and other sectors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 7-9 years of experience in environmental consulting, A/E/C or relevant industry.
  • Knowledge of impact assessment and licensing regimes in Yukon, NWT, Nunavut, and BC.
  • Proven experience building relationships and engaging with First Nations and all levels of Government.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business software.
