What you will do

• Manage portfolio of private foundations and institutional donors to expand partnerships and deepen relationships.
• Craft proposals, letters of inquiry, reports, and concept notes in collaboration with program staff.
• Build and track funding pipelines, identify new funders, and develop revenue opportunities.
• Shape proposal budgets with program and finance teams, track spending, and maximize impact.
• Execute stewardship plans, staff meetings with funders, and travel as needed (up to 10%).
• Support team management, mentorship, and grant outcome management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 6-8 years in nonprofit fundraising from institutional donors (climate/clean energy preferred).
• Exceptional verbal/written communication, organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
• Strong relationship management to cultivate and deepen funder ties.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and development CRMs like Salesforce.
• Ability to work in dynamic remote environment with occasional travel; maintain diplomacy and confidentiality.
