What you will do

• Set engineering strategy for patient core experience in partnership with Product and Data Science.
• Lead 3 Engineering Managers and scale org from ~18 to 30+ engineers.
• Co-own patient funnel metrics (intake-to-match, match-to-book, book-to-retained) with Product and Data.
• Drive delivery of ML-powered ranking, reimagined onboarding, and activation systems.
• Build engineering culture with standards for velocity, quality, and AI-augmented workflows.

Requirements

• 10+ years software engineering, 5+ years managing engineering managers
• Led engineering for consumer/marketplace product with search, matching, ranking, or personalization core.
• Scaled engineering org (25+ to 50+) maintaining velocity and quality.
• Technically strong for architecture decisions on ML systems, marketplace infra, consumer surfaces.
• Shipped ML-powered features at consumer scale; moved business metrics via eng-product partnership.
• Experience in regulated industry reasoning about ML bias, explainability, patient safety.
• Perspective on AI-augmented engineering workflows and team adoption.
