TL;DR

Account Manager (Cloud): Nurturing relationships with existing cloud customers to drive growth and retention with an accent on multicloud strategy and customer satisfaction. Focus on negotiating long-term commitments, managing support escalations, and identifying cost optimization opportunities within AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.

Location: Must be based remotely in the US (preferred in the Midwest or East Coast)

What you will do

  • Maintain ownership of customer relationships and lead communication with cloud vendor teams to identify revenue growth opportunities.
  • Identify new workload opportunities and cost optimization strategies within customer cloud environments.
  • Negotiate and close long-term commitments with key stakeholders, balancing customer and company interests.
  • Manage customer-related support escalations to resolution to ensure high satisfaction.
  • Deliver regular quarterly reviews, tracking project timelines and projected cloud spending.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to provide customer feedback and help prioritize product deliverables.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Customer Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience working at a technology company.
  • Strong technical skills to engage productively with technical teams and build influential relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent operational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Must be based remotely in the US.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or other major public clouds.
  • Experience in the FinOps ecosystem.
  • Cloud Certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Google Cloud Digital Leader.
  • Proficiency in additional languages.
