Electrical Engineering Specialist (Automotive)

Location: Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic; hybrid work with up to 40% home office

What you will do

• Lead the design and optimization of electrical wiring harnesses from concept through series production.
• Analyze design data and ensure compliance with OEM standards and customer requirements.
• Drive engineering changes, including ECR/ECO implementation and impact assessment for products and production.
• Create, review, and maintain technical and CAD documentation.
• Perform technical calculations such as wire cross-section, load, and fuse-sizing calculations.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, suppliers, and customer representatives to define technical solutions and engineering standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Czech is required.
• German or English at minimum B2 level is required for work-related communication.
• Experience as a designer or in a similar position.
• Technical degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of OEM standards and product development processes.
• Analytical thinking, independent working style, communication, teamwork, organization, and problem-solving skills.
