What you will do

• Direct and perform torque converter system and components design, analysis, development, and validation.
• Develop Creo 3D/2D models and perform simulations through build, test, and validation processes.
• Collaborate with global operations, purchasing, and the supply base to meet product and design cost targets.
• Utilize product development processes such as APQP and FMEA for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Continuous Product Improvement (CPI).
• Lead system and component design review meetings and support supplier process and quality control.
• Develop and implement project plans for drivetrain solutions and cost reduction projects.

Requirements

• Master's degree or above in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or Material Science.
• 3+ years of experience in drivetrain (transmission, gearbox, axle, TC) or relevant component design.
• Fluent English proficiency (reading, listening, writing, and speaking).
• Proficiency in Creo for 3D modeling and 2D drawing.
• Knowledge of Geometry Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T).
• Experience with mechanical assembly and manufacturing processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with transmission control systems and performance analysis.
• Electric drive design and development experience.
• Familiarity with quality management tools such as PPAP.
