What you will do

• Own and optimize the month-end close process across payroll, cost of sales, prepaids, and consolidations.
• Maintain a clean general ledger and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting through journal entries and flux analyses.
• Establish scalable intercompany processes for domestic and foreign entities, including FX accounting.
• Design and strengthen internal controls and documentation to create audit-ready financials.
• Implement automation and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual workflows.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop the internal accounting team while transitioning workflows from outsourced providers.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in high-growth or multi-entity environments.
• Must be based in the US.
• Big 4 public accounting experience is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and translate business intent into accounting implications.
• Experience with subscription-based businesses or technology-enabled services.
• Demonstrated experience supporting M&A transactions, including due diligence and post-close integration.
